Echo's halterless days are numbered.

I've had enough of Echo just letting me touch his face.

I'm about to put my foot down with him and put a halter back on him. I really want to cuddle him and brush him. We have come a long way though considering. He comes when I call him, follows me and is really good at lunging, albeit in one direction. I think he's an incredible horse and I cannot wait to see what else he can do.

You know, today was the first day that I've actually been able to brush and groom Gigondas all over! Now that she is in training and has "joined up" and accepts me as the herd leader, she is much more fun to be around! She'll come up quietly behind me, let out a big sigh, and let me brush her. I actually brushed her today WITHOUT a lead rope! She just stood there and didn't move a muscle! GOOD GIRL! Belive me, THAT is a big step! We've NEVER been able to do this before!
